Business Incentive – Immigration entrance as business visitor

As part of the incentives that the Mexican Government has for Conference Tourism, it is possible that the Event Organizers are waived with the 16% VAT only if participants from the USA, notify to Mexican immigration that they are coming for “business” and not tourism. Please help us out with this in your immigration cards. Do not enter the E-migration booth as this one automatically registers you as a “tourist”. We will require a copy of your immigration card at registration. Thanks for your help in this matter.
